Apply Points to Travel

Prefer to book travel on your own? We get that. Choose to book a trip with another travel provider and use the “Apply Points to Travel” feature to offset the travel cost afterwards.

When you book travel through the travel provider of your choice using your Scotiabank Credit Card or Debit Card that earns Scotia Rewards points, you can Apply Points to Travel towards your trip costs.4

Your Scotia Rewards points may be applied once towards each unique transaction. Partial point redemptions are not permitted.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Book an eligible flight, hotel, car, cruise, or package using your Scotia Rewards Program Card through another travel provider
  2. Wait for your travel purchase to appear on your Program Card Account or statement
  3. Visit the Apply Points to Travel page to redeem your points

For travel to Cuba, customers can book their own travel – using a different travel agency or online travel service - and then use the Apply Points to Travel option.
